Any appeal against the PCN must be in writing within 28 days of this PCN and may be sent as follows:

If you challenge this PCN within 14 days and the challenge is rejected we will extend the period within which the reduced charge may be paid.

If your appeal is rejected, you will be provided with details of how to refer the matter to an independent appeals body. This will be the Independent Appeals

The IAS provides an Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme for disputes of this type. We may engage with the IAS Non-Standard Appeals Service at our discretion providing our internal appeals process has been followed.

If the PCN is not paid or challenged:

In the event of non-payment we may apply for the Registered Keeper’s details and a Notice to Keeper will be sent.

If it remains unpaid the account may be sent to our debt collection agency for collection. All costs of collection will be added to the value of the PCN.
